Day 1, 2, and 3
Hooray, we got internet installed today~! I never imagined it would be that hard to live without internet for three days, haha~Oh, I thought I was going to die. That 12-hour plane flight to Shanghai nearly killed me. It was probably one of my worst flights. Time seemed to go by extremely slow, and the longest I could fall asleepwas only one hour at a time. I probably fell asleep five or six times. :D
After we got off the plane, we continued on to the gates where my grandpa, aunt, and cousin picked us up, like every other time. This time, I don't think they recognized me. I didn't change that much in the past two years, did I? We were escorted to a van that took us to our rented house. Our old house was sold off a few months ago. Now, we live in the tallest building in our area, on the 32nd floor. I'd look down from my window (which doesn't have a screen) and think that it would be a totally great place to commit suicide. Not that I would... *stare*
But the weather has been good. It isn't as hot as it was last time, but that doesn't mean it isn't hot. I guess one of the prime differences between America and China are the people on the streets. More cars than people, and more people than cars
The television, I'll have to say, is horrible. There are so many Chinese soaps, but none of them are interesting enough for me. I watch those talent shows with the male singers who look like they're trying to impersonate Farenheit. Seriously. Like, everybody's hair these days looks the same. Like the boy bands. Like Tank. Or Farenheit. Or Jay Chou. Like that.
